Today we were introduced to the maori term Koha, meaning a gift freely given, which we will be basing our project on. We were also introduced to the multi-platform brief and shown the three topics we could chose to do our project on. We got into teams of two, Jordyn and I chose the clean up our coastline topic.
Tuesday
Today we worked together on a project plan. We decided that unclean beaches are caused by lack of interest and apathy toward the coast line. Our aim is to change this and get people actively involved in cleaning up their coastline. We want to target beach users which are the people that will benefit the most from this project.
We did a little class exercise of drawing up small thumb nailed ideas that convey our message. For homework we are creating mood boards relating to our topic.
